All About Me
Hey There...
My name is Alyxandra Stone, though that isn’t entirely true.
Alyxandra is the name I write under — a space where I can be honest without the weight of titles or expectations.
In my other life, I’m a mother, a wife, a therapist, a person in recovery from substance use, and someone living with chronic illness. I am much more than that, but that is a start.
All of those pieces shape me, and they show up in my writing — sometimes softly, sometimes loud.
I’ve been on my own journey of healing for years — emotionally, physically, and spiritually. Some days I write from the healed parts of me, and other days from the hurting ones.
But every piece here is real. It’s honest. It’s human.
For now, I keep my real name private — not out of secrecy, but out of self-protection.
It’s my way of keeping a boundary between the professional world and the personal one.
Maybe someday those two versions of me will meet. But until then, you’ll find me here, writing from the in-between — about healing, illness, recovery, love, and all the beautiful messes that make us who we are.
If something here makes you feel seen or a little less alone, that’s the point.
Thanks for being here.
